Who are Fussy Fellas, Amberley?

Fussy Fellas is a specialist vehicle detailing enterprise, concentrating on deep, meticulous, all-encompassing processes for both the interior and exterior of a car, by focusing on cleaning, restoration, and protection.

A specialist, small boutique-styled enterprise, Fussy Fellas is owned and operated by a single craftsman by the name of Berend who uses his many years of experience and special equipment, techniques and technology to render beautiful and long lasting results for the vehicles of proud owners.

Our motto is “Details make the difference” and I strive to make a car look and feel as best as it could possibly be.

What are the differences between vehicle detailing and basic car washes?

TECHNIQUES AND EQUIPMENT	Mostly the use of automated brushes, cloths, nylon rollers or pressure washers for a quick and economical clean.	I use specialised equipment, such as steam cleaners, buffers, non-abrasive microfibre cloths and towels, whilst employing techniques like hand washing, towel drying, polishing, waxing, and deep cleaning of all surfaces. A state of art, compressed air gun is used for detailing inside
TIME AND INTENSITY	10 to 20 minutes is usually all it takes for a quick machine wash. Some include 5 minutes of vacuum time.	Depending on the size of the vehicle and the condition, together with the owner’s brief, this process can take a number of hours, or even an entire day.
OUTCOME AND PURPOSE	A routine ‘quick fix’ to remove visible dirt and make the exterior appearance of the vehicle look better.	A deep clean process that enhances a vehicle's value, appearance, and protects its surfaces from long-term damage, including issues like road tar, sea salt, pollution, and UV rays.
